Bottom Line up front: Line-X monteregie owner operator Eric loves his product, and is consequently very knowledgable about it. He runs a great business; I will not hesitate to be a return customer! After speaking with Eric, it's clear that he has a ton of experience with his product, not only applying on vehicles. He has line-X'd military vehicles, locker rooms, porches, and I'm sure much more. His ability to adapt and solve different problems based on the many situations he must encounter is reassuring for a customer, at least it was for me.

The backstory: I bought my 2012 Tundra (a beast of a pickup) new from the dealer with a factory plastic "tub" type bed liner. At the time, I was happy to have the tub as I didn't have to fork out any more $! I also thought the plastic bed liner would give me more dent protection, and being someone who likes to push my equipment to its limits, thought that this would be essential. Little did I know I would come to regret the decision.

The plastic tub is constantly moving in your box, ever so slightly. Dust / sand got under, and it acted like a big sand paper. Water then seeped into the mix, even though I've had a tonneau cover since day 1. The rust was so bad, it actually pierced the meal of my box and all this in only 5 years!!

After some research, I opted for Line-X instead of Rhino liner, and called around. The only problem is, many of the places did not both sand blast AND apply Line-X, I had to take my truck to 2 different places until I called Eric at Line-X Monteregie! I was able to get an appointment within a few days, brought my truck and I'm glad I did. Eric was able to sand blast out the problem areas, and backfill the holes created by ridding my bed of rust with Line-X. With blast proof Line-X now protecting by box, I shouldn't have any more problems (and I'm not really scared of denting after reading the 100s of positive reviews). The only problem now, is knowing when to stop. I look at my truck and see all the scratched from branches on the trail, the rock chips that have a bit of rust in them, and I'm so tempted to get the whole truck Line-X'd! It may happen in the near future. Don't hesitate to do business with Eric, you won't regret it.
